SoccerKids Support Coach (laurel hts / presidio)

Assistant Soccer Coach

If you love working outdoors, teaching, a flexible schedule, non-stressful work, and above all working with children age 2.5 to 7, this is the job for you! Ideally, you have a very strong background with children (teaching, child care provider, camp counselor), and at least a minimal knowledge of the game. Soccer knowledge is not as important as a strong background with children.
Soccerkids is looking for Support Coaches in both SF and Marin. The support coach does just that, “supports” the Head Coach. Responsibilities include showing up 20 minutes before the first class begins to help set up, participating in all games (fun!), encourage the children as they play, help instruct/guide children once the head coach has explained games, support children that need a little extra help, and help the head coach break down at the end of the days session. SoccerKids is looking for energetic, positive, responsible, punctual young adults. Patience and positive attitude is a must. This is an extremely rewarding position and Soccerkids is looking for the right people to join on.

SoccerKids History:

Soccerkids began in San Francisco in 2002 and has now expanded into Marin. Soccerkids caters to over 5000 children in the SF and Marin areas. We offer a developmentally age-appropriate, non-competitive curriculum for children aged 2.5 to 7. Classes are offered 6 days a week (Mon-Sat) in multiple locations across SF and Marin. Class sizes do not exceed 15 children, with 2 coaches (a head coach and support coach). Check out soccerkids.com for more information about us!

Dates: Sept 10 - November 19th
Hours: Weekday afternoons and Saturday mornings
