Finance and Office Manager Internship (Paid -- Part-Time) OVERVIEW The National Hispanic Council on Aging (NHCOA) is dedicated to improving the lives of Hispanic older adults, their families, and their caregivers. NHCOA, established in 1979, is a nonprofit 501©3 organization based in Washington, D.C. NHCOA is searching for a part-time Finance and Office Manager Intern to support the accounting and finance department. The intern will be responsible for routine financial and office duties and other tasks as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES • Assist finance department with all administrative aspects of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Grants Management, and Payroll, etc. • Assist in maintaining office filing system; filing documents and correspondence; including e-files. • Assist with collecting, organizing, and filing staff time records. • Assist with travel and expense reimbursement for executive staff. •

All other duties as assigned. For the right individual, there will be an opportunity to work with and learn about bookkeeping.

QUALIFICATIONS • Undergraduate studies in Accounting or Business Administration. • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and social media platforms. • Excellent prioritization and organizational skills to complete work well and on time. • Strong interpersonal verbal, and written communication skills to provide quality service. • Strong work ethic, mature, and reliable. • Detail-oriented and handle multiple tasks. • Comfort working under pressure and tight deadlines. • Commitment to NHCOA's mission of improving the lives of Hispanic older adults and Hispanic community HOW TO APPLY: Please submit cover letter and resume (CV) to hcavalcanti@nhcoa.org with subject line "Part-Time Finance Internship."
